Technology for the Benefit of Humanity: Ethical Use of AI in Bangladesh and the Journey of Future Mind AI
From “What Can Be Done?” to “What Should Be Done?”: The Beginning of a Fundamental Question
As artificial intelligence, or AI, continues to create new possibilities around the world, its impact is also becoming increasingly visible in Bangladesh. In the early stage, most discussions around AI were limited to one common question: “What can be done with AI?”
However, because this technology has both positive and negative dimensions, another important question also needed to be raised:
“What should be done with AI, and what should not be done?”
The Role of Media and the Newspapers
In 2025, several leading media outlets in Bangladesh came forward to publish ideas and analyses on the potential of AI, its ethical use, safety, prevention of misuse, responsible use, skill development, and future risks.
The newspapers that played a significant role in spreading these awareness messages include:

Following the publication of these features and discussions, at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2026 there was an opportunity to publish a book focused simply on AI content creation or income-generation techniques. Instead, greater importance was given to the responsible use of technology.
Published by Dhruvotara Prokashoni, the book:
“AI DARK & LIGHT: The Possibilities, Challenges, Responsibilities and Ethical Use of AI in the Context of Bangladesh”
was released to address both the opportunities and the risks of artificial intelligence.
The Formation of Future Mind AI and Its Core Pillars
Future Mind AI was established to transform a personal initiative into a long-term institutional platform and to work on ethical AI use, human safety, skill development, and employment.
Since 2025, the organization has been working as a pioneering initiative in Bangladesh in the fields of AI Ethical Use and AI Awareness.
Future Mind AI mainly focuses on five key areas:

Promoting the ethical, responsible, and appropriate application of artificial intelligence.
AI Awareness:
Creating awareness among the general public and society about the proper use of AI and its associated risks.

Working to protect employment opportunities and create new possibilities as technology continues to evolve.

Promoting digital safety at both family and individual levels against the misuse of technology.

Future Mind AI continues to work with the goal of ensuring that technology strengthens human safety, employment, responsibility, and ethical values.
Future Mind AI is a pioneering AI Awareness initiative in Bangladesh, dedicated to making people more aware of artificial intelligence and promoting its ethical use.
Its founder, Md. Mashiur Rahman (Pranto), has been working on AI awareness since 2025, with a focus on providing accurate information, warning people about misuse and deepfake risks, and encouraging responsible and ethical use of AI.

“কী করা যায়” থেকে “কী করা উচিত”: একটি মৌলিক প্রশ্নের সূচনা
কৃত্রিম বুদ্ধিমত্তা বা এআই (AI) নিয়ে বিশ্বজুড়ে যখন নতুন সম্ভাবনা তৈরি হচ্ছে, তখন বাংলাদেশেও এর প্রভাব স্পষ্ট। তবে শুরুর দিকে এআই সংক্রান্ত আলোচনার বেশিরভাগ অংশই সীমাবদ্ধ ছিল একটি সাধারণ প্রশ্নে “এআই দিয়ে কী করা যায়?”। কিন্তু এই প্রযুক্তির ইতিবাচক ও নেতিবাচক দুই ধরনের দিকই থাকায় আরও একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ প্রশ্ন সামনে আনার চেষ্টা করা হয়-“এআই দিয়ে কী করা উচিত আর কী করা উচিত নয়?”।

২০২৫ সালেই এআই-এর সম্ভাবনার পাশাপাশি এর নৈতিক ব্যবহার, নিরাপত্তা, অপব্যবহার প্রতিরোধ, দায়িত্বশীল ব্যবহার, দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন এবং ভবিষ্যৎ ঝুঁকি নিয়ে বিভিন্ন ভাবনা ও বিশ্লেষণ প্রকাশে দেশের শীর্ষস্থানীয় গণমাধ্যমগুলো এগিয়ে আসে। এই সচেতনতামূলক বার্তা প্রচারে যে পত্রিকাগুলো বিশেষ ভূমিকা রেখেছে, সেগুলো হলো:

এসব গণমাধ্যমে প্রকাশিত ফিচার ও আলোচনার ধারাবাহিকতায় ২০২৬ সালের অমর একুশে বইমেলায় কেবল এআই দিয়ে কনটেন্ট তৈরি বা আয় করার কৌশল সংক্রান্ত বই প্রকাশের সুযোগ থাকলেও, প্রযুক্তির দায়িত্বশীল ব্যবহারের ওপর গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়। ধ্রুবতারা প্রকাশনী থেকে প্রকাশিত হয় বই “এআই ডার্ক অ্যান্ড লাইট: বাংলাদেশের প্রেক্ষাপটে এআই এর সম্ভাবনা, সংকট, দায়িত্ব ও নৈতিক ব্যবহার”।

ব্যক্তিগত উদ্যোগকে দীর্ঘমেয়াদে প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক রূপ দিতে এবং এআই-এর নৈতিক ব্যবহার, মানুষের নিরাপত্তা, দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন ও কর্মসংস্থান নিয়ে কাজ করতে গড়ে তোলা হয় ফিউচার মাইন্ড এআই (Future Mind AI)। ২০২৫ সাল থেকে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি বাংলাদেশে এআই-এর নৈতিক ব্যবহার এবং এআই সচেতনতা তৈরিতে অগ্রদূত হিসেবে কাজ করে আসছে।

এমপ্লয়মেন্ট (Employment): প্রযুক্তির বিবর্তনের সাথে সাথে কর্মসংস্থান রক্ষা ও নতুন সুযোগ তৈরি করা।
ফ্যামিলি সেফটি (Family Safety): প্রযুক্তির অপব্যবহার থেকে পরিবার ও ব্যক্তিপর্যায়ে ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করা।
